Home Farm Hub, The Aldenham Estate, Elstree, Hertfordshire
Project currently on hold - latest news
Work from Home Farm.
While many of us are less able or willing to return to a full-time urban commute, most still want to work in a vibrant and collaborative environment. We are introducing an alternative.
We are transforming Home Farm, our familyβs Victorian model farm in Elstree, into a modern workspace with all the benefits of life in the countryside.
The schemeβs design, by Thomas Croft Architects, will see more modern farm barns replaced by high-grade office and meeting spaces, and the original Victorian stone buildings converted into a cafe/deli and exercise studio.
Home Farm Hub will be a place where members can work freely, collaborate with colleagues, and meet like-minded people in the grounds of a historic park, which will be revived by award-winning landscape designer Tom Stuart-Smith.
With planning permission now granted and detailed design in progress, we expect to open in 2025 with a range of options to suit individuals and small businesses alike. Take a meeting room for an hour, a temporary desk, or an office for a year.
Please join the list for the latest news, register your interest to take space and help us shape Home Farm Hub by completing this quick survey.
We also invite you to view our planning application on the Hertsmere Borough Council website and exhibition display, and watch a short tour filmed during our planning consultation open morning last summer.

βThe proposal to create a new working garden at the heart of the development is particularly exciting and sets the tone for the whole development, the core of which connects out to the surrounding historic Aldenham parkland, creating an astounding environment that can be more widely shared with the local community.β
